Last Minute thoughts on a New Year...

First let me preface this rant by saying 'I'm not really into the whole linear time thing'. But since we are at the Dawn of a New Year, I've been thinking a bit about Time and the unfortunate habit of tracking it.

In fact, I think one of the worst things that we have done as a society is to have invented the 'Work Week'. Now as with anything...there are both positive aspects and negative aspects to breaking down 'Time' and measuring it.

I'll start with the Positive...

Obviously we, as a society are forced to accomplish things by going to 'work' Monday through Friday. This type of 'agreement' lets businesses and therefore people utilize each others resources. This is a good thing. It allows us to eat and have shelter.

Also, having a 'Work Week Agreement' creates a lot of social settings and relationships which otherwise wouldn't exist. We are social creatures and in the words of the immortal Bruce Lee...'To Be is To Be Related To'. Also a good thing.

There are more good things like money, products, goods, and services but there's no need to go into those. I'll just agree that the 'Work Week' does have its good side.

Now on with the Bad...

Unfortunately, having a 'Work Week' also trains us to trade our most precious resource...Time. It's the one thing that we can't get back (unless of course we run into a Time Reverse Scenario!). Working 40+ hours a week leaves little time for ourselves. Add a family into that scenario and forget it.

The other tragedy I see is that it trains many of us to put off having a 'Good Time' until the weekend. To me this is soooo frustrating because I love to be social AND I work for myself. I'm not in an office environment. Most of my friends are 'stuck' in the 'Work Week' and I have to wait for them until the weekend to go 'have fun'. How selfish of them. I mean come on...working to make sure your family is taken care of? Why would you do that when you could just come hang out with me!

Seriously though, most of them hate being at work and I hate not being somewhere where I can talk to (and hypnotize) my co-workers. It can be a double edged sword.

The truth of it is that it benefits my business to put more time into it during the week. And it's unrealistic of me to think that people can abandon the 'Work Week' as easily as I did...

So...I started thinking.

As human beings we have an amazing ability to experience joy and ecstasy at ANYTIME we choose. Seriously...If you know how to do it there isn't a place that you couldn't enjoy. Even a funeral...I'm not kidding! It might be in bad taste to laugh at a funeral but I have to admit, I've done it and so have many of my friends. Think about the Irish...it's a party to them.

If people can do it at the funeral of someone they care about...why can't people do it during this so-called 'Work Week'?

Now what most people don't realize is that there is a strategy to 'Being Happy'. It's an unconscious process that can be replicated at will. No doubt there are times when it is harder...like when you're in extreme physical pain BUT even then it can be done.

How is it done you say? Well it takes some training but it IS worth it. How do I know it works...because I do it myself everyday. If I were to really think about the last few years of my life like most people would, I would be one depressed S.O.B. I'm not going to go into detail but let's just say the fact that I have a badly injured knee, can barely walk after 4 months, and am an OBSESSED martial artist who can't participate in his passion is the least of my worries...

Luckily, I simply refuse to look at things that way...

What I suggest to people is that the first step into actually getting out of the 'Work Week' successfully, is to change how they feel during the 'Work Week'. State change is everything. It allows more neurology to fire off in oneself, and when that happens, our problems go away, we feel great, and our creative abilities come out.

Having to work in a job that you just don't like is a problem. It will drain your lifeforce if you let it. I'm not saying quit your job...that would be irresponsible in this economy. I'm not going to suggest for you to 'Like' your crappy job or even 'Love' your crappy job. It's probably not a good idea to start lying to yourself. Some of you might be saying...well Ed, aren't YOU lying to yourself when your life is so crappy right now? My reply is that I am very aware of my situation BUT I don't let it dictate how I feel.

Think of it like being in a fight. If you let your emotions take over you are done for! Trust me...I know.

What I am suggesting is that you learn to Master your own state so that you can experience being 'Happy' any time you choose DESPITE your job or extraneous circumstances. And not just 'Happy' but the kind of 'Happy' you felt when you were a teenager. Go back to a time when you felt indestructible and that the world was full of possibility. (If you were a depressed teenager then simply go back to a different time when you felt good feelings.) Once you have the memory simply step into it and let your body re-experience that moment once again. It's pretty awesome looking through those filters...isn't it. If you can't do it that's okay...it just means you need some training.

Next you learn to anchor those feelings in so you can get them back any time you want to. Part of my strategy to enjoying my work is to anchor in being mischievious and a bit of a trouble maker. I was like that in my youth and I had fun with it. Not hurting anyone but being a bit of a shock to people. It creates response potential...a good thing.

Anything to wake them out of their 'seriousness'.

On a side note there is a serious thing in Government Mind Control called Tinkerbelle Programming. It makes the subject believe on an unconscious level that they are younger than they really are and that they will never grow up (like Tinkerbelle). These subjects always appear younger than their chronological age enabling them to be of 'use' longer.

I'm not suggesting I have experience with this. I just look young for 37, besides...

Programming the mind to make the body appear younger can't be possible...can it?

I think never growing up can cause responsibility problems although not always (just think Richard Branson).

So I say keep your responsibility and your job but learn to conjure the playfulness of your youth while you're at your job. Text your spouse some naughty jokes. Put a sign on the security guard's back. Studies have proven that when you are in a Playful, Fun, and Happy mood, that more of the brain's neurons fire.

So in essence you are activating more of your brain! That's what allows people to solve problems. Solving a problem from a depressed state rarely happens and to me...HAVING to work in the 'Rat Race Work Week' is a problem if you hate what you are doing.

And if you really want to get more out of your Time...


Learn to enjoy the moment because really the only time that is real is the present. The past and the future exist only within your mind. That's the truth of the matter and the truth of matter is that its always changing! But of course the more things change the more they stay the same...until you choose otherwise because...

This year is ALMOST last year and NEXT year will never get here just like ALMOST is really NEXT to NOTHING...isn't it.

Motivation is for P*ssies!

I'm in a transition phase where I am starting to REALLY PUSH my business to grow it and so I got to thinking about Motivation. Now one of the last things that I want to be is a Motivational Speaker. Have you ever seen these guys...(and gals)?

They come out on stage. There's music playing and a big screen in the background. They've got a headset mike on and they are all pumped up and yelling at the crowd. In fact I know of one speaker who comes out, asks everyone how they are doing today, and then has them repeat it over and over again until they are yelling it at the top of their lungs. Talk about an annoying pattern interrupt. The only problem is that that sh*t doesn't work on me. If I don't feel like yelling there's nothing you can do to me to make me do it and the more you try the more I think about choking you out.

Not only that but this type of Motivation only lasts so long. How many of you out there have ever had the experience where you felt great at a particular seminar? You were pumped...you were certain you were going to change your life. Maybe you felt that way for a couple of days...maybe even weeks....

BUT...

Eventually...

You went back to just feeling the way you normally feel day in and day out and nothing changed for you. I've heard this story over and over again from seminar attendees. Granted there are those people out there who naturally have high energy and bounce off the walls accomplishing everything under the sun and then some. Then there's the rest of us. It can take a lot of effort that most of us simply don't have.

Don't get me wrong...you CAN train yourself to be motivated and you CAN create certain states for yourself that you can use whenever you want and I do do that, but...the point is not to have those states NECESSARY in order to create change for yourself. Read on...

So...knowing all of this I realized that I have a challenge ahead of me. The first challenge is that I'm naturally lazy. Add the stubbornness on top of that and you get the idea. I don't like to HAVE to do anything...so the thought of HAVING to GET MOTIVATED to accomplish my goals doesn't sit well.

Yet, I am getting into an industry that most people associate with these yahoo feel good Motivationally Soaked Evangelists. How am I going to fake being pumped and get people MOTIVATED if I'm unwilling to do it myself?

Well luckily for me I tend to listen to the voices in my head (sometimes) and they all seem to agree...


Motivation is for PUSSIES!

End of story. I mean when you really think about it Motivation is just a word. It doesn't even exist. It is a concept that we have invented to define certain states of being which may or may not translate into certain behaviors taking place. On top of that, we as human beings have made a fatal error when it comes to Motivation...

We overwhelmingly believe that things will change for us if we just BECOME MOTIVATED like that successful guy we heard at the McSuccess Seminar. He is the Alpha and the rest of us are just flock until we GET MOTIVATED.

In fact...if we have sufficient Motivation AND get a Millionaire Brain THEN life will be a piece of cake and WE TOO can MOTIVATE others while gold nuggets shoot out of our ass!

So I starting thinking more about it...is that what I really want for myself? (I have to admit the nuggets thing would be a nifty trick).

I mean...I enjoy giving people the FEELING of Motivation and I do like Money BUT I don't want to work that hard. My systems are about FREEDOM and that FREEDOM comes through making simple realistic choices THAT WORK.

The simple fact is that the world changes all the time on its own. Does the WORLD NEED MOTIVATION to change? Does the sun need Motivation to burn albinos? No...it just does it naturally the way it was designed to, and we can too!

The point is to do things easily without thinking about them. Without stressing about them. Without worrying about what friends, family, co-workers, government, religious leaders or even yourself will think about you if you fail at said things.

The REAL trick here is to just simply do the things that will bring about the change we desire and do them unconsciously with no attachment to the outcome unless we should so choose. It'd be like taking a magic pill and just waking up one day and doing the right things with no thought added to them...just like brushing your teeth. Think about it...how Motivated do you NEED to be to brush your teeth?

Now that I think about it perhaps some of you COULD benefit from a little Motivation. For the rest of you this is my suggestion...

Realize that everyone who NEEDS Motivation is coming from a state of lack because they are not doing the things that they KNOW to do to get their results. You either have Motivation at the moment or you don't. Motivation is a state that we have all experienced in one form or another at one time or another. Some of us can maintain that state easily and some of us have a harder time at it. When Motivation goes away so too do the behaviors associated with it. By all means, when it comes take advantage of it...BUT don't make it the thing you need to take action.

In reality we usually GET MOTIVATED AFTER we've taken the actions we needed to take instead of before.

So instead of linking whatever behaviors that will more likely bring about the things that you desire, to a fleeting state...link them to something that occurs naturally..Like Breathing! This is the whole premise of the Fast Food Effect...Utilization.

How do you do this?

Sometimes all it takes is just to change the way you THINK about the things you already know you should be doing but don't because you THINK you lack the Motivation.

Stop and consider what it would be like if you just did the things you needed to do without thought...it would be a bit like being in a Magical Spell wouldn't it.

One day you will just wake up and suddenly you would be surrounded by all the things you once wanted.

And Motivation would be that thing that other people would assume you had...wouldn't it!

Time Reversed Human Experience and Goal Getting

Years ago when I first began developing The Fast Food Effect...I was having a discussion with one of my friends about Visualization. My friend is one of THE top stuntmen in the country and works almost exclusively on Big Budget movies. He is also a professional martial artists and trains about 8 hours a day when he is not on the set.

In other words...this is one Successful, Highly-Focused Individual!

At the time I was telling him about using my method to reinforce a Visualization that I wanted to have happen for me in the future. (See The Fast Food Effect for more detailed information of the procedures). In my method back then, instead of linking my Visualization to Fast Food symbols...I would link it to the sound and feeling of me punching the heavy bag. Since I hit the heavy bag 100's of times in a workout it was a useful reinforcement tool for the Visualization. After explaining this to him...my friend made a comment.

He said, "I use Visualization more so that I see myself in the right place at the right time!" When he said that I thought...'wow', that's quite a distinction from what I was doing. I was doing something that was more similar to trying to force an event rather than have it happen naturally and just benefiting from what was already occurring. What my friend was doing was more similar to perceiving events(or precognition) and then taking advantage of them rather than creating events. It's not that I was really trying to create events either but there was more of that element involved with what I was doing.

If you think that this is 'far' out there...just wait. There have been a myriad of scientific studies that have supported both types of events (forced vs. precognition) as being valid.

The Forced events are termed PK events and the Precognition events can be termed Precognitive events (Gut-Feeling events).

If those confuse you just think of it like this...

Take the example of throwing a pair of dice. In PK experiments you throw the dice and while they are in the air you mentally try to force a 7 (or any other number you decide). In precognitive events before or during your throw you try to perceive what is number is going to come up and bet higher at the right time. Simple enough...

Like I mentioned earlier...there are thousands of studies showing the validity of both PK events and precognition events (remote viewing, predicting the future, visions, etc.).

One of the most amazing (and to some disturbing) things that has come out of these studies are the studies on Time Reversed Human Experience.

What this states is that there is strong evidence to suggest that certain events that happen in the future actually influence the events in the past...as if TIME FLOWS BACKWARDS!

Let's look at baseball as an example: If you wanted to study how a curve ball happens and you set up an experiment to do so, you might measure 100's of different throws by different pitchers and measure the results. You record these on camera and measure everything. In these results you would find that spin has to do with how far the ball curves. The more spin put on by the pitcher the more the ball curves.

Typically you would get the ball curving 3-4 feet at the extremes from the plate...but in some rare cases the ball would actually curve 9 feet or more! When you calculate the spin you find that a human couldn't possibly generate that much spin to account for the ball being 9 feet+ from the plate. So you look for other explanations...

Let's say you rule everything out...the wind, extra force, heavier/lighter ball...everything. Then you think to yourself, well this is crazy but either there was some PK influence on the ball by the pitcher or what if the ball actually was thrown 9 feet from the plate back to the pitcher instead. (This isn't my analogy by the way...they've actually modeled this hypothesis with computers).

Now without getting into a 5 page dictation as to how this worked let me sum up the findings. What they wanted to find is whether someone could use PK influence to make the anomalous effect or could events in the future actually affect events in the past (a sort of reverse causal effect). So...what did they find?

What they found is that there is a stronger probability that a Time Reversed Human Experience happened versus a PK experience (although it was a slight combination of the 2). The ball was thrown backwards through time from the plate back to the pitcher with a slight PK effect!

They calculated this over and over again and the final results were conclusive. It was a combination of PK and Time Reverse with a stronger influence from the Time Reversed Experience. As far as I know they do not actually have video of a ball being thrown from the plate back to a pitcher in reverse but they do have 9 feet curve balls happen.

So what does this have to do with Goal Getting?

Well...most Goal Getting (provided the goals are realistic), is first and foremost a psychological process. Most people don't accomplish their goals because of their mental habits and blocks. Many have low self-worth and limiting beliefs that actually keep them from achieving their goals. Conversely, those that have better unconscious strategies tend to exhibit habits that create better results.

Goals are also the products of actions and are also effected by the world or 'the setting'. You may have a goal of being the best swimmer but if you practice swimming in a desert (your actions), you probably won't reach that goal. The setting has to be correct. Pitching a curve ball 9 feet from the plate although is a low probability event, it is in the correct setting.

The point is to have the goal be realistic in the right setting.

So if we apply the scientific study findings to our Visualization then it would really benefit us to use a combination of what I was doing AND what my friend was doing. By doing so you will be tapping into a future event that not only has already happened but is influencing past events (your current present).

Psychologically you would be releasing any blocks on your behavior because you are visualizing being in the Right Place at the Right Time. It's not so much YOU that is forcing the event but YOU are taking advantage of something that is happening naturally. The forcing is really just forcing yourself to take advantage of a future that has already happened and all that takes is a little extra awareness.

This very model of the world takes any self-doubt out of the picture because the event has already happened...no thanks to you!

So my recommendation to anyone that is using Visualization to accomplish their goals is to visualize yourself being in a Time Reversed Human Experience where what you want to happen has already happened and to know that that event is actually changing your present moment as you read this. Right Now is Your Future's 'Causal Effect'. All you have to do at the moment is mentally go through the motions and make sure that your Visualization is in a realistic setting(this takes care of the PK effects yet effectively bypasses your blocks because you are guiding the Visualization AND letting it happen at the same time).

Don't worry if you don't understand it all...I don't. I'm just letting my fingers type.

Do like my friend does and simply see yourself being in the Right Place at the Right Time Doing the Right Things!

Rome is Burning...Hurry Get the Marshmallows!

It is no secret that our financial system and our country are in a world of hurt. Whether you believe the corporate media who has been telling us this is all the result of the housing crisis or you believe the alternative media that says that it is the result of a planned devaluation of the dollar by the Fed...the fact is that we are in a position we haven't seen since 'The Great Depression'.

2009 could very well be 1929 all over again...or will it?

My gut tells me that it will be worse for the vast majority of the middle class. We are seeing a set of circumstances that could literally wipe out the middle class. There are food shortages worldwide, oil is at an all-time high, we are in a never-ending war, our national debt is incalculable...oh yeah and now we have former astronauts on television saying that aliens are real!

The point is that we are on the brink of hyper-inflation and that means living costs and prices across the board could rise so fast that the middle-class won't be able to pay for a cloned meat cheeseburger let alone keep their NFL package. I know this sounds quite negative but I haven't gotten to the good part yet.

Times of great tribulation also bring Times of Great Change for those that choose to recognize what is happening. As more and more middle class Americans lose their jobs...more and more of these individuals are going to be left wondering what to do next. The good part is that the vast majority are going to be in the same boat.

Let's just call this boat The Boat of Re-Education.

In my view, the only way for someone who has little savings, no job security, a rapidly depleting 401k, 2.3 kids to feed, and little hope, has 1 of 2 choices...

Either assume the fetal position or become the master of your own financial destiny.

There will be no more 401ks, IRA's, Mutual Funds, Retirement Plans that you can count on (unless of course they are heavily packed with precious metals or require you to become chipped so you can have your account linked to your biology in the central computer...helps prevent theft. Really...Rumsfeld swears!).

The coming situation is an opportunity for those people that can give the individuals who let themselves be at the mercy of the system, the skills to last through the coming times. This is where the 5 Areas of Awareness and Influence come in...Let's assume the worse, a total economic collapse!


Mind/Body...In times of great tribulation it will be absolutely vital for people to control their health and stress levels. Let's face it...if we ever have to stand in a food line that will be stressful.

Language...Bartering, Negotiation, and Influence will be the Skills that Pay the Bills. Some of us may even need to use our Jedi Mind Skills at the various anti-American...I mean anti-terrorist roadblocks. "I am not the free-thinking patriot you are looking for!"

Security...First let's cover Monetary Security. If there are no jobs then you will be forced to create your own. Bartering may be back In Vogue sooner than you think.

Physical Security...this one is a no-brainer. The more desperate people become the more you will need to know what to do to protect yourself, your property, and the safety of your family and friends. (I don't mean to be a fear monger...using the extremes helps to put things into perspective. Prepare for the worst and anything else that happens will be a piece of cake. Hopefully none of this will happen to anyone).

Social Mastery...Creating Networking Groups and Small Communities where everybody supports each other will be a throwback to the rural Great Depression communities when the farmers banded together to feed each other. The same will be important for finances and shelter as well. There is strength in numbers. Organizing and inspiring others will be of great benefit.

Knowledge of Systems & Energy...If things get really bad it will absolutely crucial to understand Nature's cycles as well as to understand how to organize and systematize our communities. Using Other People's Time and Energy will be essential for survival. And let's face it...if the Chinese could control the weather for the Olympics (it was on national news), then weather warfare is more than likely a reality. Get used to it.

Even if things don't get as bad as I've said, there will still be a major portion of the Middle Class out of work and in need of new careers, no matter what. I am a firm believer that people are primarily responsible for their realities and that with the right mindset anyone can see great wealth no matter what is happening...BUT,

I also want to make sure that their heads aren't so high in the clouds that they lose their minds.

There must be balance between your ideals and what is going on in the world. The greater the gap the greater the delusion.

The reality is that we are in a time of great manipulation and That Manipulation is going to disrupt those individuals who have invested their future security in 'The System" which is now at the focus of That Manipulation.

Most of the middle class is going to be forced to find new ways to support themselves and their loved ones. They will need to be coached in the 5 Areas to learn how to run their own businesses and their new lives. They will need to re-educate their minds so they can get out of the employee/dependant mentality and take the helm of their own ship. BTW...The employee mentality is truly (in my opinion) the cause of all of this anyway. We have been taught to be afraid and dependant on an authority that will help us.

In essence, people will be forced to 'Take Back Their Minds' and control their lives independent of Any System.

Remember...the Truth exists outside of any 'fixed' patterns or System because the Truth is Limitless, Boundless, and Infinite. How can you confine something that is Formless? Also...Don't dismiss a System for you will have created another pattern and trapped yourself there.

In the words of the immortal Bruce Lee - Be like Water my Friend.

So just let things happen as they will, prepare yourself properly with all the skills that you will need and when the time comes...Break out the Marshmallows!

The 5 Areas of Awareness & Influence

What are the 5 Areas of Awareness & Influence and why are they important?

First...let's talk about why they are important. It is my contention that these 5 areas are necessary to an individual who wants to get more out of life. In a nutshell they are 5 interconnected Areas of Awareness & Influence that affect the way a person experiences Life and Reality. None is more important than the others as they all influence each other to varying degrees at different times.

So what ARE these 5 Areas of Awareness & Influence?

1. MIND/BODY - Awareness of How to Influence the Mind/Body
In order to get more out of life one needs to understand the natural processes of the Mind/Body in order to influence them. One needs to learn how thoughts, beliefs, attitudes, habits, and behaviors develop. One needs to learn how the Mind/Body are really one system and how to use that system to Get More from themselves and others.

2. LANGUAGE - How to Use Language to Influence Yourself and Others

The second Area deals with how to properly use Language both in influences others and more importantly in self-programming. Our society is riddled with negative programming due to poor language patterning. Many of it has been passed on by our parents and even more through our society.

3. SECURITY - Monetary and Physical Security

Obviously there are many programs that deal with monetary and physical security. Rarely do I see both yet both are extremely important to the individual. Obviously if one wants to get the most of his/her life one needs to have monetary security. Of course if one doesn't have physical security than all the money in world doesn't matter.

Although it may seem like common sense there is actually a deeper reason why this Area is so important. Having both Monetary and Physical Security is sought after on an unconscious level by our species as a whole. Survival is essential to a species and is actually hard-wired into our DNA. Mastery of this Area is Crucial.

4. SOCIAL MASTERY - Mastery of Environments, Groups, and Individuals

We are a Social Society. Those individuals who have better social skills are often seen as people who get more enjoyment out of life. Indeed...they have more choices. There is a saying that you are only as powerful as your personal network. As far as society is concerned this is absolutely true. It's even more evident in the business world. Companies with larger networks can do more than smaller ones.

Social Mastery is a must. Unless you choose to live in a cave this Area is extremely important for obvious reasons.

5. SYSTEMS & ENERGY - How to Understand and Use Natural Systems and Energy

In business it is extremely important to learn how to use systems. The best systems are the ones that take advantage of the Natural Flow of Things. Some say that the universe is a series of innumberable events and that the interaction of those events can be recognized as trends. Businesses take advantage of trends.

Maximizing a trend can be accelerated by a thorough knowledge of Systems and Energy. For example...companies use the energy of their employees. They maximize their output as a company through the use of their employees energy and time. By adding different systems for the employees to utilize they further maximize their output. Systems and Energy go hand in hand. Business is just one example. Everything is Energy functioning within a System.

Conclusion...

Although this is just a brief explanation, you may already see how learning about these crucial 5 Areas of Awareness and Influence can help you get what you really want out of life. We call them Areas of Awareness because first you must develop your knowledge (hence your awareness) of how these Areas Interact and INFLUENCE each other.

These 5 Areas are the Key to understanding the Way of things. I wish each and every one of you the best.
